Fletcher was sitting at his desk re-working an article for tommorow's edition of The Journal when his phone rang. It was one of his contacts reporting some breaking news: The return of Brandon Spaulding! At this news Fletcher's journalistic instincts kick into full gear. As do his feelings for Alexandra whom he's sure is reeling from this news. He remembered the last time Brandon resurfaced in Barbados and how unsettled Alex had been...

Fletcher knew that what was going on over at the Spaulding mansion was more than just the usual family drama. It had to be more than just another power play for the company and Brandon, Alan, and Roger all sniffing around at the same time could only mean trouble. Also the worried look on Alexandra's face had him troubled. She had dealt with all this before so why was this time different? He also knew he couldnt count on Phillip to be a hundred percent truthfull concerning all that was happening. He knew he could read Alex better than anyone else and she was the one he wanted to talk to. But after the chilly reception from her last night he knew that would prove more difficult than it had in the past. Alan and Roger were definately up to something and he phoned some of his contacts to keep an eye on the two of them. Alex and Brandon he would handle himself...
