Returning home from his meeting Roger was beginning to regret ever alligning himself with alan. He poured himself a drink and sat down to unwind before the next confrontation with alex. He was experiencing something new he hadnt before where she was concerned: Guilt!

After a few more drinks he knew what he had to do. he had to call alex and go along with what alan said. at least that way he could keep an eye on what alan doing. and hard as it would be to pretend to still want her he could pull it off. after all alex was an intelligent strong willed woman. still a beautiful woman. he could play along for a while, and he did enjoy sparing with her. she was always evenly matched to him. not many other women could hold their own the way she did. but as much as he may have resented her, he certainly didnt want her driven insane. and he certainly didnt want to be the one doing it. and for all of alan's concern about him crossing the line, roger thought to himself that alan had allready crossed it. using eric luvonaczek to get to her was low and dirty. "oh, well... better get this over with..." and he dials her number...
