Alexandra Drops In On Henry

Alexandra pulls up at the Chamberlin Mansion to see Henry and request his help!

"Alexandra," Henry's eyes twinkled with delight. "How marvelous to see you."

My Darling Henry, I am so happy to see you too! Henry, I need to talk with you about Alan and Roger. One if not both are once again making a play for Spaulding.

[Henry Chamberlain]

"Alan and Roger," Henry pondered. "I wouldn't put anything past those two. Don't get me wrong, I'm genuinely fond of Alan. But I know his lust for power all too well. A trait he inherited from Brandon, I'm afraid."

Tell me about it Henry, the things we didn't get from our dear Father! I don't know what there next move will be Henry, but I have planted some bait that I know one of them will take, Phillip and Alan Michael are also working with me and I am hoping I can count on you and Vanessa as well! I don't want this power struggle anymore Henry! It has cost all of us dearly, but I am not going to sit by and let Alan or Roger gain the upper hand with me ever again!

"My loyalty has always been to Spaulding," Henry nodded. "A drawn out power struggle in today's business climate could prove disasterous. I'm certain Vanessa would agree."

Good, then I can count on you both? I will be calling a meeting at Spaulding sometime this week and I hope you and Vanessa will join us. You both have a huge interest in Spaulding and are major shareholders, so I would love it if you both would join us at trying to put a stop to Alan and Roger once and for all! I'm off to the office dear, I will talk with you soon!

"Good-by dear," Henry beamed.

I wonder, Henry thought to himself as he paused to carefully consider all of the possible ramifications. No...Alexandra would hit the roof. But still, he has a stake in all this too.

Henry picked up the nearby telephone and punched a series of numbers into its keypad.

"Brandon," Henry said. "It's Henry. I think you should return to Springfield sooner than you planned...No, not over the phone. This should be discussed in person...Yes that'll be fine...See you then."
